ABOUT ME
Lisa Bridge
The singing celebrant
& Poet
I’m Lisa Bridge and I grew up in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. I attended Tring Park and graduated from The Guildford School of Acting in 2008. I’ve worked extensively as a performer in the West End. I have worked as a dancer, singer and actor and have been extremely fortunate to have performed at The Drury Lane, Theatre Royal, Haymarket, The Savoy, The Palladium and The Phoenix Theatre. Most recently I appeared as Raquel, Marlene and Cassandra in Only Fools and Horses, The musical.
Other West End credits include: Mrs. Bucket in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Christine Colgate in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Judy in 9 to 5 Musical, Dorothy Brown in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Harrier in Bend it Like Beckham.

I have always been the go-to person amongst family and friends to read, sing and take part in family ceremonies, be it weddings or funerals. I realised it was a way of using my skills as a performer to really make a difference and make connections with an audience in a much more rewarding and intimate way than on the stage.
Celebrancy just seemed a natural progression.

I have a passion for nature and the outdoors. I like to interweave nature and traditional ancient elements like herbs, flowers and their meanings into my ceremonies.
I find supporting bereaved families and celebrating life extremely rewarding, but I also find so much joy in officiating weddings and family celebrations around Bedfordshire, London and the UK.
